ABOUT US
IGDH, our mission is to create safe, dignified, and supportive housing that restores stability, inspires growth, and strengthens our community. We build our work in phases, each one shaped by real needs and meaningful partnerships. As we collaborate with local organizations, veteran programs, and community leaders, we remain flexible — shifting, reorganizing, and re‑strategizing as new challenges and opportunities arise.
Every phase of IGDH is designed to uplift individuals, raise awareness about homelessness, and expand access to compassionate, community‑centered housing. Our mission is simple: to ignite dignity and hope, one person and one home at a time.
Phases That Grow With the Need
Although IGDH outlines its work in phases, these phases are not fixed in order. Our growth follows the needs of the community — not a strict timeline. As new challenges emerge and partnerships expand, we shift, reorganize, and re‑strategize to respond where we’re needed most. Each phase builds on the last, but we allow the work to progress in the order that best serves the people we support.
IGDH Growth Timeline
PHASE 1 — Independent Living Homes Safe, stable, structured housing for adults seeking independence, support, and a fresh start.
PHASE 2 — Veteran Housing Initiative Dedicated housing options for veterans and veteran families, in partnership with VA programs, HUD‑VASH, and SSVF providers.
PHASE 3 — Community Partnerships Expansion Collaborations with local agencies, nonprofits, and outreach teams to address homelessness, housing insecurity, and community needs.
PHASE 4 — Supportive Services Network Life‑skills development, resource navigation, and community‑based support to help residents maintain long‑term stability.
PHASE 5 — Future Community Housing Projects Additional homes, specialized programs, and expanded services as needs grow and new opportunities emerge.
Phase One
Our independent-living model at IGDH offers a vibrant, maintenance-free lifestyle designed for women who want to enjoy their independence while having access to community services when needed. Our community blends comfort, safety, and social connections in a beautiful, welcoming environment.
Phase Two
At IGDH, we believe every veteran deserves a safe place to land, rebuild, and thrive. Phase Two of our mission expands our independent‑living model to include dedicated housing options for veterans and veteran families who are transitioning out of homelessness, instability, or difficult life circumstances.
